The arts raise awareness. Getting into the arts raises an awareness within ourselves of ourselves and who we are in the world that surrounds us. Through the arts we connect to that what makes us human. Within the freedom of the arts, we each can safely explore our intellectual and physical heritage and discover our humanity. The arts allow us to put our natural endowments to work and gain knowledge and understanding of our own core human values.
With an understanding of who we are and what we are capable of, Life is ours.

"I as a visual artist, dedicate mine towards building prospering societies and a safe and peaceful world. The arts taught me I wish to create beautiful things, because I see my artwork really touches people. It makes me happy to connect and communicate with you on such deep level in a language beyond words. I want express that I need the world to be beautiful, so we all can enjoy our time here. It's hard as it is. I, as a woman need to feel safe, so women can roam the planet freely and unharmed. We are an easy target due to our physiques already. I need our societies to be peaceful, so the love, knowledge and understandings I passed onto my son will not go to waste, but spread out more and be for the benefit of all. As all mothers, I too live to carry on Life." ~ Pris, 2015
In music:
"As a musician, as an American jazz musician, mixing and combining cultures is essential. It’s what we are, it’s who were are. I’m a mix, you’re a mix, everybody is a mix, you know. So once you realise that, you’ll say ‘you know what, this is actually what keeps us alive. This is the future, this mixing, this kind of embracing the unknown." ~ Marcus Miller, 2015
In dance:
"I started krumping because that’s the only way I could express myself, talking wasn’t my strong point so my dance was everything to me. I love krump because it brings you closer to yourself and it helps you grow thru the years. Helping new krumpers and other dance styles is something I always did and still do. It feels like the only way I can give something back, without this dance I would be in much more trouble. I love the krump movement and krump is fun, nobody is going to take that away from me. I’m here to work." ~ Illusion, 2014
